Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Her beauty is well-known for its elegance. her long-standing presence in the competitive film industry reflects her talent and skills as an actor. When she was a model in her early years, she first began modeling in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew in the field of modeling. After studying acting Russo embarked on a modeling career in Los Angeles. Russo first made her television debut on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut film. Critics, initially skeptical of her performance skills, were eventually won over by her continuous performances. The critics loved her most when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she defended her ground in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. In her own words, she was never a fanatic with acting. She was in 2005 when she took to a break, which was self-imposed. Following a lengthy break, she came back for her part in Thor. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her on and later she signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining the UFC She has become a household name due her achievements both inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing to be a teenager. Invicta Fighting Championships made the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age 18 when she submitted two opponents. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join UFC the strawweight division in December 2014 at just twenty-two years of age. Throughout Rose her career, she's been through periods of the highs and lows with each time coming out on top. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. Rose won the bout through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes of the first round. It was the first ever women to compete to win a title in any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas had several successful fights following her win which included defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
